The Jordan Trail
What is the Jordan Trail?
The Jordan Trail is a hiking trail that runs throughout the whole of Jordan – from Umm Qais in the North, via Wadi Rum, to Aqaba in the South. It connects all points of interest and provides travelers with a wholly different perspective of Jordan. The trail passes through the beautiful, green North, through the Vallies around and south of Amman, then through the stony landscape south of Kerak, through the Dana reserve, Petra, Wadi Rum, and finally Aqaba.
What does Hike Jordan do on it?
The Jordan Trail runs right by Eisa Dweekat’s Homestay; it provides an ideal resting spot in Ajloun. Hike Jordan can be hired as a guide for the Jordan Trail along the northern segments as he knows the trail well and even co-founded it. Some of the smaller guided tours offered by Hike Jordan follow bits of the Jordan Trail. Hike Jordan also offers the transportation of tents and equipment along side the hike. Hike Jordan is strongly intertwined with the activities of the Jordan Trail.
Eisa does not only offer numerous services along the trail, but he is also a Board Member and co-founder of on the Jordan Trail. He frequently meets with the other Board Members to optimize the trail and make it even more enjoyable for hikers.
